A new report reveals that Croatia’s tourism sector is seeing a significant boost thanks to its growing network of visa-free travel arrangements. Among the ninety-three countries benefiting from this policy are major global players such as the United States, Canada, Japan, Spain, Germany, Italy, South Korea, Australia, Singapore, and Malaysia. These visa exemptions are making it easier for travelers from these nations to visit Croatia, further enhancing its appeal as a top European destination. By simplifying travel for millions, Croatia is attracting more international tourists, with the policy helping to drive increased tourism flows and economic growth in the sector.

Croatia Tourist Arrivals:

Tourist arrivals in Croatia surged to 956,215 in April 2025, a significant increase from 259,856 in March of the same year. Historically, Croatia has averaged approximately 1,317,424 tourist arrivals annually from 1999 to 2025. The highest recorded figure was an impressive 16,854,869 in December 2023, while the lowest occurred in January 2021, with only 16,399 arrivals, a result of the global pandemic’s impact on travel.
