As we mentioned earlier, the reunion is happening.
Madix announced the plans for a New York City gathering in August to the Islanders, much to their excitement.
“I really really am grateful and lucky that I got to witness your journies and be even just the tiniest part of it,” Madix said before she left.
And then, FINALLY, the entire cast was able to dive into the pool, the one part of the villa they’ve never been.

So has the experience been about love or money for Amaya and Bryan?
The couple was tested with selecting an envelope giving one of them the full $100,000 prize, and then they would have to make the decision whether to keep the money or split it. In the history of Love Island I don’t think any couple hasn’t chosen to split it.
Bryan opened the envelope to find the $100,000 — and chose to share it!
“This isn’t really even a question for me,” he said. “Of course I’m splitting this money with Amaya.”
“America chose you as their winning couple and you proved them right!” declared Ariana.

She then shared a message to anyone who’s ever felt misunderstood. “Don’t ever settle,” the wordsmith insisted.
Madix asked Nic and Olandria how they were feeling about being runners up, and Nic took the moment to say how much Amaya and Bryan deserve the win after the journey Amaya went on throughout the series.”

After a firepit chat with Madix, the four couples headed back to the platform for the results.
Iris and Pepe came in fourth place, followed by Huda and Chris, much to their own surprise. (“How the f— are we third?!” Huda said, surprised to have placed so high.)
“We have followed every step of your journey over the last six weeks, and now the wait is finally over,” Madix teased. “The winners of Love Island USA 2025 are Amaya and Bryan!”
(Humblebrag: The couple I voted for has won every season I’ve watched. NBD.)
They kissed and squealed as fireworks exploded in the air. I’d have the zoomies about it myself, but I’m writing this thing. Thankfully, Amaya got them too and brought Bryan along for the ride.

Nicolandria Steps Up to the Plate

“I really think the best foundation to a relationship is friendship,” Olandria said. “I came to realize something: The person who has been standing beside you through it all may actually be the person you were meant to find.”

“How many signs did we miss along the way?” Nic began. “I always was your secret admirer. … It shocked me how strong of a team we really could be.”
“I’m not sure where we’re going, whether we become partners, lovers or best friends,” he continued. “P.S. When I secretly kissed you while you were blindfolded. I’m very sorry I didn’t tell you sooner.”

Chris and Huda are up, and they still managed to say really nice things to each other.
“I genuinely want to see you find someone,” she said, referring to all the lessons she’d learned from him during their time together.

In her final declaration to Pepe, she told him their journey was “pretty crazy.”
“You’ve become my best friend in here,” she continued. “The way that you’re able to articulate your feelings is very attractive. … One of my proudest moments is when I chose to recouple with you.”
“From the first time I saw you, I couldn’t believe how beautiful you were,” Pepe said. “Our bond grew stronger and stronger every day. … You are the only woman I could have ever seen myself walking out of here with.”

Huda was the first to enter the villa and see the gents, and Chris told her she looked “beautiful.”
Amaya entered next, to “Damn! Yeah, Amaya Papaya!” from Bryan.
Pepe was impressed with Iris’s silver look and Nic said, “You look great!” when he saw Olandria.
Nic made a toast and each couple danced in slow motion (even Huda and Chris seemed to be enjoying it!) as they awaited the arrival of Ariana for the results.
The Ladies Get Some R&R

“I’m over here thinking R&R means Rolls Royce,” Amaya said. She also shared her plans to steal all the Cerave products in the villa on her way out.
“We’re sisters. We have each other for life,” she told the ladies as they toasted over brunch.

Iris shared how grateful she was to Pepe for liking her and seeing that she was a good person before they got romantic.
And Huda concluded, “I found my friendships, and I found lessons. I wouldn’t change this experience for the world.”
Olandria told Amaya how much she’s enjoying her time with Nic and that helped her let down some walls. She also noted how much she loves the way Bryan treats Amaya.
Chris Slept in Soul Ties

Finally, all the dates were finished and it was time for bed. Despite several empty beds in the room, Chris grabbed some pillows and said he was heading to Soul Ties to sleep instead of sharing a bed with Huda on his last night.
“In all honestly, I just think he’s being dramatic right now, because we didn’t end on bad terms,” Huda said.
The next morning, Bryan asked Chris if he was going to try again with Huda, and Chris responded, “That s— is cooked. Deep-fried.”
Amaya and Bryan Are Officially Exclusive!

Amaya and Bryan were greeted at their date with snacks, champagne, and a book of photos from throughout their lives.
“I finally found my perfect glass slipper,” she told Bryan.
They both couldn’t stop smiling as they flipped through the photos and shared how happy they’ve made each other.
“If my light is too bright for somebody, wear sunglasses or something. That is not a me problem,” Amaya said, recalling how much it meant to her when Bryan had her back during the Stand on Business challenge. “You, you looked right into the sun.”
“Every time I talk to you, my energy’s up. I walk away smiling,” he said.
Then they took a Polaroid (and I’m not sure Amaya had seen one before, which was adorable).
Bryan then got a bit more serious and listed some of the things he loves about Amaya. “I definitely wanted to leave her and let you know that I want to make stuff exclusive with us and prioritize us. I want to continue taking the right steps with you.”
After Amaya said yes, they shared a sweet slow dance as sparklers flew. “Thank you for letting me be me,” she said.
“He makes me feel that fairy tales are real,” Amaya said in the Beach Hut.
Huda and Chris Tell the Others

“We’re sitting on the water and … I couldn’t sit there and act like I was fine,” Huda told Iris and Olandria. She concluded, “I ended it with him.”
Chris told Nic and Pepe that Huda wanted to just be friends and noted, “I’ve seen all the red flags that I needed to see. … I’m going to find the right woman for me.”
“The date did not go anywhere near how I wanted to the date to go,” Chris admitted in the Beach Hut.
“I think I really handled this great. I didn’t yell,” Huda told the ladies. “I think I’m leaving here with a clear mind and I think I’m leaving here with a better me.”
Amaya Is ‘Sparkling’ for Her Date with Bryan

“I’m sparkling, I’m body-oiled up, my lip gloss is popping, my heart is filled with nothing but love,” she said in the Beach Hut. “I feel like the most ultimate Dominican Cinderella that there is.”
Huda and Chris End Things on Their Date

Chris and Huda’s dinner date was set on a floating platform with a difficult path to get there, so Chris carried Huda to her seat. Once they sat, he popped some champagne.
“Cheers to our first date,” they each said.
“I didn’t know what to expect coming in here,” he said. “I pretty much found what I was looking for, which was a genuine connection. And I really do appreciate you letting down some of your walls. … I really do like where this is going and I do see the potential in us.”
“There’s chemistry, but there’s also things that we need to work on,” Huda responded. “We need to address those things so that we don’t have like animosity towards one another. So I wanted to ask you if there were things that were bothering you.”

Chris then brought up the previous argument they had about kissing in public as well as the evening before when he wanted to sleep.
Huda explained that she felt rejected, and Chris shared that her reactions made him not want to show her affection. After the conversation got a bit more heated, Chris added, “I’ve given you the reassurance of me wanting to do this in the outside world which makes me feel like I know what you’re leaning towards.”
“There’s no more time in here to figure this out,” Huda said. “I’m not sure how we’ll be able to work on that if it’s long distance. I like you, and I want to continue to explore and get to know you, but at the same time, I’m scared that I’m going to do that and I’m going to be disappointed.”
A singer showed up and began singing “Moon River” as the two looked at each other, both frustrated.
Finally, Huda decided, “I think we should just be friends.”
Chris responded that he was just waiting for Huda to say it, and he’s going to separate himself from her. “I need to not like you anymore,” he said.
And then he got up and left her alone at the table.
A few minutes later, he came back for her and told her he wasn’t going to carry her back to dry land.

Chris woke up still frustrated with Huda over her threatening him for wanting to go to sleep rather than cuddle the night before. He confided in Bryan about the situation.
Huda then confided in Amaya, claiming the chain of events the night before went a bit differently than was shown, but she, too, was frustrated.
Still, Bryan managed to convince Chris to “put my best foot forward” for their date today. And Amaya urged Huda to have an honest conversation about Chris’ lack of affection the night before.
Nicolandria Get a Dream Date

The friends-to-lovers began their dream date recreating the Titanic moment at the front of a boat, followed by a beach walk filled with messages in bottles from fans.
“I feel like we missed so many signs along the way,” Nic said.
Their walk led them to a pretty picnic complete with champagne. Olandria spoke about planning to visit Nic in Florida and having dinner with his family.
“We’re kind of like a power duo,” Nic said. Olandria added, “Oh, this is going to be so much fun.”
“I do have love for you,” Nic said. “It’s like that seed that I just want to water and I’m really excited to see where this goes.”
“Me too,” she responded.
Messages from Nic’s dad and Olandria’s sisters brought them both to tears.

FINALLY! Nic just admitted to Olandria that he kissed her in the second challenge of the season, where people could secretly kiss people they were interested in other than their partners.
I have been waiting for this moment all season!
And it seems Olandria has too. She admitted she felt his beard and suspected that kiss came from him.

Peacock just announced that season 7’s winners and fan-favorite Islanders will be coming together for a reunion special. The photo above shows exactly how I feel about that, especially after last season’s unforgettable special.
Co-hosted by Ariana Madix and Andy Cohen (!), the reunion will premiere on Monday, Aug. 25 at 9 p.m. ET.
But that wasn’t the only announcement either: Love Island Games season 2, also hosted by Madix, will premiere on Tuesday, Sept. 16 on Peacock.

Love Island USA: Beyond the Villa, featuring the unforgettable cast of last summer’s season, including Serena Page, JaNa Craig, Kenny Rodriguez, Leah Kateb and Miguel Harichi, Kaylor Martin and Aaron Evans, Connor Newsum, Kendall Washington and Olivia “Liv” Walker.
The first episode premiered earlier today and, needless to say, it was filled with drama. Kaylor and her bestie Liv are clashing, exes Kaylor and Aaron had to face each other for the first time since the reunion last year, and JaNa still has beef with Connor.
New episodes drop every Thursday beginning July 17.
Ariana Madix Keeps the Love and Tears Flowing

On Saturday night’s episode of Aftersun, Love Island USA host and self-proclaimed “glam reaper” got a bit emotional talking about the season.
“It’s been a really tough season for a lot of reasons,” she told Maura Higgins. ““The islanders who were eliminated, there’s been a lot of stuff that’s just been crazy,” Ariana acknowledged. “I just want them to know, and any islander who has also left the villa this point, I just want them all to know how much I genuinely really love them and appreciate them for putting themselves out there.”
Earlier on Saturday, the Love Island USA social channels posted yet another message reminding fans to be kind. (Sadly, they have felt the need to post a few of these this season.) “Our host and all islanders deserve respect and kindness for opening their hearts to the experience and to viewers everywhere,” it reads in part. “As this season comes to a close, let’s show them our love and support!”

Ahead of tonight’s finale, Peacock has released a surprisingly lengthy first look at the episode.
In it, we get a glimpse of all four couples on their final dates; each person, including Ariana Madix, rocking their final recoupling ceremony looks; and one last round of Amaya Papaya with the zoomies.
“I think actually this might be the best date I’ve ever had in my life,” Iris tells Pepe on a boat. “Everything happened for a reason.”
After sharing a spicy kiss earlier in the clip, Nic tells Olandria during their beach picnic, “I want to see where this goes.”
“With you, I don’t ever cry out of sadness,” Amaya tells Bryan. He says, “That’s what I, like, want in my life.”
